Supporting Sustainable Travel with Sussex Greenways

The Jempson Foundation is proud to have donated £100 to Sussex Greenways, helping to provide secure bike lockers at a discounted rate and making cycling in our local area more accessible and convenient.

The initiative aims to encourage more residents and visitors to explore Rye and Romney Marsh by bike, giving cyclists greater peace of mind that their bikes can be stored safely and securely while they enjoy everything the area has to offer.

Making secure cycle parking more affordable is a simple but important step towards encouraging greener ways to travel. By supporting cycling, the project not only promotes healthier and more active lifestyles but also helps reduce reliance on cars and supports more sustainable ways of visiting our towns, villages and local attractions.

With Rye and Romney Marsh offering so much beautiful countryside, scenery and local heritage to discover, travelling by bike is a fantastic way for people to experience the area while reducing their environmental impact.
