Rye Memorial Hospital

The Rye Jempson’s/Budgens supermarket raised an outstanding £1,234 for the Rye Memorial Hospital – their staff nominated charity, from a raffle, with a fantastic top of the range 32″ flat screen television first prize donated by Andrew & Stephen Jempson.

Anne Hostler from the Memorial Hospital said “We cannot thank the wonderful staff at Jempson’s/Budgens enough, and we say a special Thank You to the staff who stood for many hours in atrociously cold weather selling raffle tickets, to Andrew and Stephen for donating the prize, and a big thank you to everyone who bought tickets”.

Andrew and Stephen Jempson said “Rye Memorial Hospital serves the people of rural East Sussex and offers a standard of health and community care which is second to none. We are pleased that our Rye store team has pledged their support to this community based charity”.
