Donation to Camber Community Group

The Jempson Foundation recently made a donation to Camber Community Group, to develop and design Camber village logo and anti-litter/social responsibility campaign for Summer 2021.

Janette Robins said, “We would like to thank The Jempson Foundation for their support. The donation is so gratefully received. With the large number of visitors and holidaymakers to Camber beach resort, litter and dog fouling has become a very serious issue throughout the Camber village and the beach. The local community would like to encourage those visitors to have a sense of ‘ownership’, sharing and responsibility to where they are and the environment during their stay. This funding would enable work on an overall logo concept for the campaign. We are delighted that the new antilitter and anti-social behavior campaign has been approved by Rother District Council and we hope to start rolling out by the end of May. Thank you, this donation will make a real difference.”

Westerleigh hope to continue the amazing work and fun we have have had from the last 25 years. With around 40% of our athletes having a physical or learning disability, 15-20% being, ‘looked after children’ and being based in an area of deprivation, our training club has been a lifeline for many families over the years. Thank you, this donation will make a real difference.”
