The Jempson Foundation are delighted to make a donation to Ticehurst & Flimwell CofE Primary School to help fund their Creative Outdoor Teaching Area!

“We want to encourage and enhance outdoor learning – there will be a wildflower meadow, birdboxes and butterfly houses with growing boxes for veg to teach the children where food comes from. Each classroom will have access to this area, so it will really help our children learn and grow. Donation to Battle Pre-School

The Jempson Foundation are pleased to make a donation to Battle Pre-School to improve and update part of the Children’s Play Area.

“The sandpit and surrounding pebbled area is used every day, all year round, come rain or shine, so it’s an important part of the Children’s day. Donation to Battle Foodbank

The Jempson Foundation are delighted to be able to make a donation to Battle Food Bank, given by the fantastic local community and Jempson’s.

“A huge thanks to the local community for their generosity, we are very grateful for their support and that of Jempson’s. There has been a dramatic rise in the use of the food bank in the last couple of years and this donation will be of such help. We have a new premises in the Upper Church Hall of St Mary’s Church in Battle and we are open every Wednesday between 1pm and 3pm to support anyone in need.” Sally Parry, Battle Food Bank

Jempson’s Sponsor It’s a ChaRYEity Knockout!

The Jempson Foundation are sponsoring it’s a ChaRYEity Knockout, a Family Fun day down in Rye RFC on Saturday 3rd September organised by Rye, Winchelsea & District Memorial Hospital, the last of four events they are holding over the Summer.

“The money raised from this event will go directly towards purchasing new mattresses and beds on the ward at the Hospital. Donation to Rye Food Bank

The Jempson Foundation are delighted to donate £5000 to Rye Food Bank, bringing the total donations so far to £35,000, given by the amazing local community and Jempson’s.

Donation to Rye and District Street Pastors

The Jempson Foundation are delighted to make a donation to the Rye and District Street Pastors.

“We cover Rye and District using a vehicle which was donated to us by Sussex Police. This transports the team, supplies and refreshments as well as assisting individuals who are in need of our  support and we may deal with 20 to 30 per evening who are predominantly vulnerable youths or adults. The Jempson Foundation donate to Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre

The Jempson Foundation are delighted to make a donation to Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre in Battle to support the development of their Jabez Garden Project.

“The polytunnel re-positioning and repair, with improved accessibility to our Jabez Gardens, will enable our gardening project to benefit the local community. In partnership with local groups and causes, we are developing our facilities to expand the life skills of individuals through gardening work placements, whilst offering gardening opportunities to those on retreat at our Centre.” John Brown, Crowhurst Christian Healing Centre

Wittersham School Association Donation

The Jempson Foundation are delighted to make a donation to the Wittersham School Association.

“This was a request from the children on the School Council who asked if a bird hide, binoculars and other learning resources could be purchased for the Wildlife Garden here at the School. Lockdown saw many children become interested in birdwatching and we use this space during lunchtimes and Wildlife Club. It is really good to have the support of Jempson’s, it means a lot to the children to know that the wider community are taking an interest in their wellbeing and development – they feel heard and valued” Claire, Headteacher

Donation to Warming up The Homeless

The Jempson Foundation are very pleased to make a donation to Warming up the Homeless, a Charity based in Bexhill on Sea who support vulnerable men, women and children who are experiencing homelessness, food poverty and social isolation.

 

“This donation will go towards the Jubilee Party we are organising for up to 55 homeless children, who are currently living in emergency accommodation hostels. They will have had their whole life turned upside down so to give them some normality at this time will be so good. Donation to Community Poppy Knitters in Hawkhurst
