Contribution to Beautiful Battle

‘Beautiful Battle’ is a voluntary community team who actively create & maintain gardens, planters & hanging baskets within the historic market town received a £250 donation from The Foundation as a contribution towards the tidying up process of Market Square.

Stephen Jempson said ‘Market Square is one of the main pedestrian entries into Battle & the forecourt to our Jempson’s Budgens Supermarket’ he continued ‘Beautiful Battle arranged for the grass mowing to be done, four volunteers tend the garden areas & a delightful plant bed has been added outside the store, they have absolutely transformed the area & we are delighted to make this contribution towards the upkeep of the Square’.

Simon Alexander Beautiful Battle Chairman said ‘It is always a pleasure to work closely with our sponsors & the evidence is readily visible on Market Square’.
